For some reason my fans become very loud when my room is cold, I've tried googling it but it never comes up with the same question I typed in.
The sound goes away after the computer warms up.

a or k?
I'm using the k right now I'm just worried if it'll die like these people are saying
i've got the k
it's working fine for me

Is there a way to move Windows 8.1 from my HDD to my SSD?
Samsung, the company who made my SSD had a tool for that.

Does anyone know how to fix 1-3 second mini freezes while playing games? It happens pretty often and i have no idea how to prevent them. I'm getting 60-120 fps on games so i doubt it's my gpu.

I need a new motherboard, cpu, and gpu for around $350. Anything is going to be better than my quad core 3.5 mhz AMD Phenom II x4 970 and Radeon 7750. I would like to have an i5, if possible. GPU can be anything.

Good luck with that. Those 3 are all some of the most expensive parts of the computer.

how can a hardware issue be fixed

Nvidia employee PeterS commented on the issue on the Nvidia forums yesterday, noting that a driver update is in the works that will "tune what's allocated where in memory to further improve performance."

The driver update will hopefully help, but while it might optimize performance, the architecture of the 970 can't be changed through software. The card won't be able to access that last 500MB of VRAM at the same speed as the GTX 980.

aha.......HAHAHAHHA. Bro an i5 alone is $200. That leaves you with $150 for a mobo and GPU.

If I were you I'd stick with your current build for about another year until you get more money.

so um... i didn't get a pc, i got a wii u (forget me, i regret it now). so i'm just going to be doing some little upgrades like a new gpu, case, psu, stuff like that. my grandpa pays me to do work on his cars, so i can probably make like 50 bucks or more by my birthday, and usually on my birthday i get on average 115 dollars. so i have like 165 dollars to work with then. i was thinking of starting with the case and psu, maybe a gpu if it fits in that budget. here are my specs:
