have you seen poker keyboards

Who could possibly use these? They seem just barely usable. There aren't even function keys. Yet it still has caps lock, the context menu key, and a second Windows key...
That is literally worse than a low-end laptop keyboard.

But they do look nice. Except the caret. Why is it so big?

I just realized i not only have ust 1 windows key, but no menu key, which is replaced by a 1.5x long function and control keys on the right of the spacebar.

Also the poker keyboards seem kinda egh. Cant stand not having my numpad and the lack of armrest would take getting used to

60% keyboards are fine, but I personally want a full-sized one so I would never look at things like that.
WASDKeyboards tho, and they also allow for a custom color scheme of keys, or blanking them / using custom font if you got the extra money. They are quite expensive for no physical reason except riching though.

Speaking of temperatures, playing Blockland with minimal background activity on the following procs:
AMD Sempron Singlecore x86 1GHz: 70C - Desktop
AMD Turion II x64 2.2GHz: 53C - Laptop
AMD Athlon II x64 2.5GHz: 42C - Desktop
Intel Core Duo 2GHz x32: 45C - Desktop
Note that the laptop has one fan and the desktop has 4 fans. 2 on the CPU radiator, one on the HDD casing and one on the case's vent hole.

should I wait for the mechanical apex keyboard or just buy membrane from steelseries

or do you guys have any nice looking keyboards that you can suggest ?

Oh, yeah, those aren't their best products. Stick to EVGA and cooler master PSUs. im sure there are a few other really good brands too for PSUs

thing is, i'm on a tight budget, < 140 - 150 actually. i also need to buy thermal paste because a while ago i forgot i took the heatsink off for some reason. it's not getting hot, so i think it's fine for now.

Like... you left it off? Or you put it back on, just without new thermal paste?

My fans get loud when its cold, pretty sure it has to due with its lubrication getting gooped up

could anyone give me any advice on what's the best place to have your tower, on your desk or on the floor? I'm in two minds to put mine on the floor to give me more desk space but I have a carpet (dust and stuff) so I'm not sure :(.

might as well add that my pc does have dust filters

Wow, you people take care of your towers like if they were kids. I have mine under my desk, partially open and I use it as a foot rest. I HAVE to have it under the AC unit when it's a hot summer though.

welp, I've found a wooden board which raises it a bit of the ground so I'll probably do it

So I got myself a used HP L2245wg 22" 1680x1050 TFT for 40€ /$45 and three hours of my time, traveling included. (I didn't get the screen I wanted but I sure as hell wasn't going to leave empty handed after queuing for almost two hours and being prepared to spend the money.) It has a noticeable large scratch near the center but I don't plan to game on it, so it's sort of ok. The colors are lame compared to my glorious IPS but otherwise it loveually empowers me to have a second screen. I have no clue what I'm going to use it for but for but damn it's neat. Now my desk looks like a proper battlestation. I will post pics later when I've cleaned.
