Holy stuff, so I nearly forgeted up my gpu. My custom fan curve didn't set right or something, because the fans didn't kick on and I noticed it was reaching 80C. It was running fine on default, so whatever ASUS, you win.

I can't even imagine what I did wrong. The curve was being shown correctly, the fans just weren't following it with the software off.

Anyone have some good mice suggestions?

I've had three Logitech MX512 in a row and now I have the newer version of it (G400). I love it.

The ASUS STRIX cards have pre-defined fan curves which prevent the fans from rotating until the card hits about 64 degrees celsius. I wouldn't be surprised if using anything other than ASUS software would change the curves incorrectly, though I don't know if ASUS has made their own software for changing the fan curves on these cards

I was using ASUS software.

I was using ASUS software.

Then I guess they never intended for people to be able to make the fans turn on sooner than 64 degrees

Well I mean, it worked that night that I changed them. I wonder if the program needs to run in order to adjust the fan curve?

Usually they do, just like how I need to have MSI open on startup to apply the overclock I have on my STRIX 970

Greeeeat, alright. Been trying to limit my start-up programs.

Well the good thing is that you have a GPU, the bad thing is it only has 126 MB of Vram. At minimum settings I think you could play it at an average of 40 FPS.
