So, ever since I bought my case back in July I've had this problem with the side panel rattling whenever the GPU fan speeds up. Today I got fed up with the noise and so I went out and bought this:

These weather strips are supposed to be used for windows and doors, but I figured it'd work for case doors as well. It does look very thick but it actually compresses a lot since it's so porous.
And the patient in question:

For some reason I thought the gap between the panel and the case was much bigger than this, but gotta soldier on I guess.
I decided to put the strips on the side panel since I figured they'd be torn off by the mounting tabs if I were to stick them on the case itself.

Cut the first piece.

Stuck on the front edge of the panel.

Did the back as well.

Aaaand done. I put a few strips on the top and bottom as well as added some more at the back.
Now, the question is, does it fit?

It does take a little brute force (and swearing), but in the end it slides into place.
And now for the big question, did it work? Why yes it does! Before the mod the case would sound like a Lada on a dirt road whenever I played any games, and now I can't hear a thing except for regular fan noise. 10/10 would recommend.
