i think i should get a new case

Oh, that may be relatively hard to work with then.

Also i think someone who has more knowledge about AMD should help you out

And this:
When you're on such a tight budget then you don't get to be picky. What's your case?

400 CAD = 320.42 USD
holy stuff that's way below the usual minimum price for a gaming computer

I get that all of the time with a very old NVidia GPU. Do you have any symptoms before it? I usually had a minor screen tearing and gradually building up before the driver stopped working.
No. If I'm fast enough (from system boot up), I can get Minecraft up and running. It will run, I can put it on maximum settings and fullscreen it with no problem. Then, computer just commits Self Delete. I'm going to disable the TDR detection in the registry and see if that works. When the computer crashes, the video will hang for about 1-2 seconds and then blackscreen restart.

I DON'T CARE IF IT'S NOT A PRO MLG GAMING COMPUTER

the only thing i want is a computer that is faster than mine
that's all

also my dad already has a case but he doesn't know what model is it
that's all i can say about that case

Can you get a picture?

It's not a cardboard box now, is it?
Without knowing much about the case, how do you expect us to know what motherboard fits in it?

Can you get a picture?
it's at my dad's house which is 700 kilometers away

i can't :/

With the money you have it will be relatively hard to make a computer worth spending money on.

Gotta realize you're looking at $400 for the cpu, mobo, PSU, and RAM alone, which means no GPU. TBH the MOBO, PSU, and RAM are the easiest. Its the CPU that requires some thinking

i forgot the gpu lol

anyway i will try to find a way to get a computer that will be better than what i have

Without knowing what your case is this is the best I can do;

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Tokthree/saved/#view=dRYhP6.

Not knowing what your case is means that I had to allocate $50 to a new case to ensure compatibility. I cannot get you a 650w PSU but you will NOT require more than 500w considering how tight your budget is now and is likely to be in the future.
The CPU has a built in AMD r7-series GPU and if you want to upgrade in the future you can buy an AMD graphics card and run them together in Crossfire for extra performance.

The only difficulty you'll face with this build is the BIOS. You will need to update the BIOS before you can install the CPU, thankfully this motherboard supports USB BIOS flashing. Here's a guide on how to do this without going out and spending $50 on an old FM2+ CPU which is supported from the first BIOS version.

Edit:

Now guys, Yndaaa has thrown down the gauntlet; he wants to know and see if ANYONE can manage to put together a better rig for the same price or less as my one. That's $402 Canadian (rounded up) with no rebates from NCIX, TigerDirect or BestDirect.

Get the 970, go with this motherboard; http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97g45gaming. It's not too much more expensive than the one you currently have in there but it does have far better reviews across the board
Trying to keep the color scheme (Black/Blue), but nonetheless nice mobo.

Sometimes you just have to forget about colour-matching everything in your rig

I guess you're right, but my OCD is going to kick me in the ass for it.

You can always repaint it later with regular paint you get at the Home Depot. :cookieMonster:

Had this problem for a long time running windows 8 while a dead drive was sitting connected to the machine. The solution is to simply remove the dead drive.

yup, I once had a hard-drive that failed and I never bothered to remove it (a Seagate one of course) that caused this.
