Remember that computers have to go at the speed of the slowest drive. If the drive is an IDE, all of the drives on the same ribbon cable will go at that drive's speed. If you dare have your boot sector in a slow drive, your entire system performance is compromised.

What the cheapest graphics card that can run source games at 144 fps?

why 144

why 144
Maybe because he likes to have a framerate divisible by 12, perhaps?

On Topic: I'm thinking somewhere around the GTX 600 series, maybe a 670 or 680. Possibly even 660, if you're looking for the cheapest.

I had a 560 and got over 200fps on any source game lol

Oh...

Yeah source games don't exactly need a lot to run at max.

Though i don't see why he is asking for the cheapest video card possible when he has a loving 144MHZ monitor.

Its like getting a really, REALLY good and expensive case, but then asking what brand of duct tact is best for keeping the side panels on.

because i want to run csgo at 144hz at the lowest price :u

Do you even HAVE a 144Hz monitor?

So I may have to find a cheaper monitor due to reasons. I still need it to be at least 20" and have HDMI. I already searched for myself but I can't find a decent priced one. Looking for a price at least around $150

Try projectors. Sure they don't last as long but my recent searches determine that they're cheaper for their resolution and you can play laying in bed projecting the game on the roof.

What projector are you looking at? Also my roof is plastic stretched across and stapled up. My room wasn't completed so the actual roof won't hold in heat.
