Yeah, my local bestbuy sells RAM too

I just installed a new GPU for my PC, however now when I try to play GTA 5 there is a black border around the game. I have the resolution set to my monitors and everything but it is refusing to truly fill the screen
Scratch this, sorry. I put it to windowed borderless and somehow that fixed it

OK, found a problem with the new PC (One of the first posts from the new rig, wheeee).

Just got it booted up for the first time, but Windows isn't detecting that I have a 3TB HDD, just the SSD that I installed the Windows partition on. What do I do?

EDIT: The HDD shows up on the BIOS, so I know it's in.

does it show up in disk managment

Search for Computer Management, go to Disk Management and see if your drive is listed there. If not then make sure it's properly installed.

Yes.

format it

format it

Well, that's wonderful.

EDIT: I think what I actually need to do is create a new partition on the HDD. I'm not going to try it until I get an OK. I should also mention that this HDD is brand new.

if you right click the unallocated space do you get the option to make a new volume or something like that

i wouldnt buy really anything from bestbuy, and if you are check online to see if it actually is a better price to get it in store

I can create a new Simple Volume.
try that, should make the space usable. no idea why the drive is partitioned up like that if it's your first time using it

edit: also not sure why the system reserved stuff is on there, i thought that usually went on the drive you installed windows on.
