a guy teaching a computer hardware class that i attended said that he's seen an amd explode because someone forgeted up overclocking it. he also saw one catch on fire
i heard that instead of amd optimizing their graphics cards for better temps, they would just design it to run hot and just put some cooling later

is there any reason you cant build your own? its not too hard, just gotta plug stuff in to other things and make sure you're static free

You all win 15k dollars and you have to make a PC.

Make one.

WTH you have $15k and all you get is an i7 4790k and a two way SLI 980?!

Oh and only 16 gigs of RAM WTH

i guess this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dW7gyc
though i'd sure as hell be more picky if this were for real. Probably wouldn't even use the third Titan X because microstutter.

I'd go with this.

Like, it's got freaking 18 terabytes of storage space. Also, I had to manually add a second PSU because 1500 watts isn't enough lol.

these 2 ssds of fury can litteraly come to life and push god himself out of his throne. there is no need for anything else.

It should work as long as everything fits on the SSD, but I can't guarantee anything. Remember to disable scheduled defrags and enable TRIM once you're done, though.
Oh shoot, I need to disable that then (it did work, but defrags are still scheduled). Also, what is TRIM?

with gaming you barely even need 16gb of RAM. i got 16 gigs on my current build and i've rarely gone over 8gb used.
