can we also ask for help here?

in an effort to uninstall a bad driver a couple days ago, i accidentally uninstalled the usb controller for my computer. will my keyboard still work to get into the bios? i think i can fix it from there, but literally nothing i plug into my computer works now
It should, I don't think BIOS depends on drivers for a keyboard.

The driver you uninstalled was for Windows.  It should still work perfectly fine in your BIOS.

I tried to install a new cpu (on a pre-build desktop) I got for free at the computer store to experiment n stuff but the headsink has like rubbers on the screws and I cant remove 'm (also im p scared to forget stuff up so I dont really force it)
So how to remove?

Well, that'll depend on the model. Some prebuilt computers will come with the CPU soldered into the motherboard, which means you cannot replace it. But you can't tell that unless you get the heatsink off in the first place. I'd try prying the rubber things off with some pliers or something of that sort.

I doubt its soldered on since I can p much remove anything.
Ill get some tools to pry that off tomorrow after shool.
We'll see, but I think I can.

Some OEM motherboards have proprietary mounts for CPU coolers, I know that it's a problem for my secondary PC which prevents me from putting my old Phenom II X4 965 BE in it. Extremely irritating as it would be a massive improvement over the Athlon II x2 245 it currently has

So I seriously need some help. Recently I got a new case fan, CPU fan/heatsink, and thermal paste. I replaced my case fan while the new CPU fan/heatsink wouldn't fit. I put back my old CPU fan but didn't replace the thermal paste, so I did but made the mistake of picking it up and had to replace it once more. Now I'm here because Fallout 4 takes a loving long time to load, and then I got to far into the overworld and nothing loaded so it crashed. I'm pretty sure I forgeted up at some point. Maybe I put some wire in the wrong spot, maybe I forgeted up something on the motherboard, idk.

Here's my temp as it is, only Google, Steam, and Skype are on.

EDIT: I played Borderlands 2, load times were slower but I didn't go anywhere so there could potentially still be a problem with loading.

Well for starters you should know Speedfan doesn't display accurate temps, your better off using HWinfo or OpenHardwareMonitor.

Also once you remove the heatsink you always have to replace the thermal paste, your problem here is you have a stuff ton of air bubbles and heat transfer is poor, just remove the heatsink and clean off the gunk with coffee filters and alcohol and apply the new thermal paste (about the size of a grain of rice) and place and re-install the heat sink, but make sure you screw it in with equal pressure in a cross pattern so you get an even spread of the paste.

Thanks for the help. Got it working now.

Unfortunately the thermal paste was the only thing I got to use, the new case fan is too damn loud and the CPU fan/heatsink doesn't fit. Can anyone recommend me a good CPU fan/heatsink and case fan? I have a Dell XPS-8500 and according to my measurements, the case fan is 90mm and the CPU fan/heatsink is 80mm. I'm not sure if those numbers matter for the CPU fan but then again I'm a stuffty buyer, as seen with the crap I bought.

Well for the heatsink we actually need to know the model of the motherboard, not all heatsinks fit on the same motherboards, some motherboards might not have clearance for a good one.

Honestly if you can fit one, I would recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
If that one doesn't fit then try its smaller brother the Hyper TX3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103064&cm_re=coolermaster_tx3-_-35-103-064-_-Product

Both completely outperform any stock heatsink, for fans I would recommend anything corsair, cooler master, fractal design, nzxt and last but not least noctua. Warning though Noctua fans are probably the best out there, but their pricy and only come in a strange brown color, unless you buy the linus tech tips edition ones or the redux models that are just older models of the fans without the rubber noise dampeners.

Personally I'm using NZXT FN140v2 fans on my case, and I use a Corsair H55 Water Cooler with its stock fan.

K guys.

2011-v3 with broadwell-e upgrade cpus releasing with compatibility on that socket, next month.

Or

1151 skylake, with still unknown maybe/maybe not kabylake release and compatibility prob 3-4Q 2016.

Im making an extreme gaming mini itx or micro atx little thing.
Broadwell feels lovey with quad channel ram and upcoming 10core20thread home pc cpus. (even if not necessarily for gaming purposes lol.
But skylake is way morw mainstream with way more mobo and case compatibility. Lesser hardware but easier upgrades.
