In other words not as quiet as a Noctua fan.

$19.99 USD, and looks like ass

>wraith cooler

price of the processor doesn't even change so we can assume that it is somewhere around the price of the old cooler, 10 - 20 dollars, and the aesthetics are nice

of course not everyone cares about how they look

that noctua fan is only one fan, not the heatsink or anything

your comparison isnt valid to the situation

all he said is that it's not as quiet as a noctua fan, relax

i am relaxed lol im not hostile in any way

im just trying to say that the comparison was in bad taste

Maybe you should like
not buy that version
and instead buy the black version

If I remember correctly noctua fans are some of the quietest fans out there, not to mention amazing quality.

Sure, they are ugly as sin but he was comparing the stock cooler with a noctua fan in terms of silence, not the look.

I've got a loving turbine but it keeps an AMD processor below 45C.

Yeah I'm not sure if your aware but the old cooler that came bundled with certain AMD cpus worked alright but the fan was a noisy cluster forget, I was comparing the noise of the new cooler compared to the old one that had an extremely noisy fan.

And yes Noctua fans can be ugly, and expensive but most of the time their hidden behind rads or behind the front panel of the case, either way you can get the Linus tech Tips edition one and then just swap the orange rubber dampeners with black ones.

I know there are other fan options out there but I personally prefer noctua ones because of their reliability and reputation.

I only hope they sell the Wraith cooler separately as well because that light up AMD logo on the side is loving awesome.

I'll stick with liquid cooling though, my Corsair H55 though since its still working strong, maybe I will upgrade the cooler's fan to a 120mm PWM Noctua one though.

New cooler. Went with the 10 buck one anyways because cheap and quiet.

My CPU now idles 2 degrees cooler! Wowzers!!.
Havent tried on load. Got just cause 3 today so lets try it out I guess. On load I usually got arround 60 degrees C.

That tiny cooler is neato looking lol

Yeah but its p ugly tbh. Well it nooks neat while its spinning and you can see the metal.
Its also very, very quiet. buuuuut because its near the fan that came with my case I really cant determine wich fan makes wich noise. Im going to buy some quiet fan later on. Maybe tomorrow.

are you sure the motherboard isnt going

i was getting similar errors when my motherboard started to get fried

i was thinking its my gpu but now that you mentioned it, my mother board is old as heck too

im probably gonna stop by my friends house to get my old gpu back (it sucks though) to try and eliminate the gpu out of the problem if it still screws up

i have no idea why you would get memory errors when the GPU is the problem

still could be just the gpu but it sounds to me like something else is going on
