At this point it's safe to say your GPU is stuffting yourself.

There are many low-end GPUs you can buy if your budget is tight, I'll let other people in the thread take care of that, but if your computer is still crashing even with the old GPU you may want to consider buying an entire new computer.

My CPU temp only goes up to 40C with my new cooler while playing JC3. Neat.

OOOOORRRR you should try your onboard GPU and use that for a while until you can buy a replacement.

Almost everyone has them. Ask a friend or your parents if they have one laying around. Or just go buy one. a 30cm VGA cable isn't expensive here so I doubt it is in the US.

Hdmis are like 95 cents here lol. I think vga is even less. If they atleast sell it.

everything related to tech is like 10000% MSRP at physical retailers

I paid $30 for a 1.25m VGA cable and it's about $2 USD.

well getting my hands dirty and dusting it off seemed to do the trick. it was idling at some pretty high temps earlier now its back to normal
my drivers arent even available for any updates. the card is too old
wtf why didnt you clean before saying anything

everything the onboard gpu does i can do right now, i just cant play games or do other intense gpu stuff. i might crash once or twice here and there but honestly its not a big deal and id like to keep my 1080 resolution
