I don't want people to see this when they see my google account, I want them to see my face. Yet I don't want people to see my face when they open my youtube channel.

Bullstuff bullstuff bullstuff i've been a member for 5 years now I wanna get some privacy between my google account and my youtube account without linking some other email to my youtube.

Google has owned Youtube for a couple of years now, if the wanted to they could just call Youtube
Google Video 2.0.

If you have a youtube account just under your google account it will ask you if you want your real name to be replaced by your youtube name

no I usually login with my gmail anyways but a month ago I wanted to try and get used to my old login type (via username) and this takes a stuff in my eyes

You can create multiple gmail accounts and bind them all together.
