Author Topic: RTB GUI downloading  (Read 610 times)

Ok, what if Ephi made a special section in RTB for server GUIs?
Once a player goes into a server with this GUI enabled, a message box pops up asking to download it.
Of course the GUI would have to be approved and stuff and the player still needs to have RTB.

But how cool would this be?

I thought Ephi mentioned something about doing this.

Not sure on what's going on with that.

It's a great idea.

You can already do this.
The gui is put on RTB, somewhere in the bargain bin so it doesn't annoy.
Then you put some sort of handshake in the gui code, if it doesn't respond you can assume the client doesn't have the gui and give him a special link that opens the mod manager on the right page, so he can download the gui and reconnect.

It would be better if it were just put in a special section that prompts download when they enter.

How do you get the special link?
