We already know that EarthBound won't be coming to virtual console outside of Japan, since copyright laws are more strict in those places.

I'm a fan of the series. I have been playing Mother (Earthbound Zero) for a long time and I'm almost finished. I've been having some trouble with Earthbound and I'm half way through Chapter 2 in Mother 3.

Why does it matter if I haven't finished Earthbound that I'm not a good fan?

However, I will say I have battled Giygas, the final boss. It's pretty intense.

not to mention the anniversary 30 cent games are already planned out, so it most likely won't be coming out during the promotion, much less afterwards.
