Homeschooling with your lack of confidence would make you more likely to be even more of a social outcast.

I was raised on Homeschooling and I socialize very well in that field because it's where I have the most experience, whereas if I switched to public schooling I would probably have a harder time doing it. Switching schooling methods isn't the answer. Your issue is primarily more psychological and preference based. It sounds like you would prefer for friends to come to you rather than you going out to seek them.

People in real life just piss me off, I wouldnt call someone who isn't socially adept "lame" but rather "introverted" or maybe "smart". Its hard for a lot of intelligent people to socialize in school if most of the people are stupid

Solution: be like everyone else. Don't be 'you.' The new you will be much better, because everyone agrees with it. Your own opinion, thoughts, feelings, beliefs and values won't matter anymore. Why? Because no one cares about them. They are like-minded and selfish. Conform immediately for instant gratification. Join them. Don't fight. 'You' don't exist. No one exists. No one should exist. Because everyone's afraid of change.
