I do not know very much but from what I do know I believe raising taxes is needed in U.S.A. Debt is something which needs to be paid off, where is the government going to get that money from? The people. It is their country they are paying for. If everyone is like "heeel yeaah 'merica forget yeah we rock" then why not support your country with some dough? I agree with taxing the richer more because they can afford it unlike some of the lower class. I do not think Obama is bad I just believe George Bush left the country in a stuff position and Obama has a huge loving mess of a country to deal with. A hard job and he gets all the blame and anger for it. Just my opinion.

I'm too sick to get into a political argument, but essentially you're missing the point of everything. America's economy itself is in the stuffter. We can't fix our debt until we fix our economy. The problem I see with taxing people more and supporting people more is this: it's essentially wealth redistribution. Yeah, middle and lower class pay taxes too but they're getting a lot more aid for their dollar than the rich are. My problem isn't that taxes are too high for the rich, but that it doesn't actually help the economy. If a hypothetical economy is worth $1b, with $300m in the top 1%, 500m in the 99th-50th percentile, and 200m in the bottom 50%, completely redistributing the wealth to communism status still leaves the economy's worth at $1b. It hasn't grown. Too sick and tired to get more into it than that, but yeah.

yes, they didnt plan a penny for their retirement. they grew up expecting paychecks for being old, and free healthcare for being american.
they set the tune for current americans who are also dependents.
