Author Topic: Trading non-Steam Assassin's Creed 3 Deluxe for something on Steam.  (Read 975 times)

I have a redeem code for AC3, but not only is it not Steam, my PC won't be able to run it. I was hoping I could find someone willing to trade it for something on Steam that I could actually play.

This is all I can really offer in the way of proof:

Anyone?

I will give you a ghastly gibus for it.

That code likely will unlock it on Steam.  uPlay is more like a custom launcher than it is a platform for buying games.

Yes, I understand, but it may allow you to use the code on Steam. I maybe wrong though.

Nope. I tried.

i had one of these codes also and it doesnt work on steam

It unfortunately does not.  I redeemed it on ubisoft's uplay.  It took loving forever though, for at least a week and a half the ubisoft shop website was completely loving broken and wouldn't even let me checkout AC3 to use the promo code.

I don't know why Nvidia would even bother with any non-steam free game.  Really it's absolutely useless.  At least it wasn't a "7 hour trial of SC2".

At least you got something free at all?

What about 30 euros in your steam wallet.

Along with other people i got Farcry 3 but my dad got it from amazon so i had to redeem with ubisoft and didnt work with steam

I don't think you can give people Steam money.

I think this might be irrelevant anyway. My GPU died, so I wont be playing any games, never mind AC3.

When they mean steam wallet, they mean that they will buy you 30 dollars worth of games or items of your choice.

Not sure it matters anymore anyway.
