Author Topic: Musical instruments that actually play music  (Read 8580 times)

you know how my sound pack are always like 10mb big because they use full stereo audio clips?
this would be a ridiculously huge add-on, unless you were to try and have them play OGGs, though i don't know how well that'd work

Annoying Orangeet should look like the horn for Buff Bannor on TF2 :P

If roblox can pin it... blockland sure as hell can.

You completely missed the point.  Ideally, these would not play individual notes or sequences of them.  They would essentially be portable, animated music bricks.

no, get out

If you wanted an "ok" one, you could get all the sound files, make a gui for each instrument, and have client sided binds for the guis when they are open. OR you could have bricks that you would click which can be slow

Idea, if a certain combination of music instruments/bricks are together, they would play an arranged song. Ex: Annoying Orangeet, flute, clarinet, sax, and drums would play a jazzy tune when near each other.

Or Guitar, base guitar, drum kit = rock or some other genre.
I don't know if its possible though.

Missing the point again.  What I want are basically portable, animated music bricks.  You can play whatever music loop you want with any instrument, even if it doesn't make sense.  To get the effect of a band, you could have backup players playing silent instruments.  It's like noboody bothers to read the OP.

oh, lol, that's easy, also
TomTom (who might be leaving)
Has made bricks that sync with external audio, which I suppose he will never be releasing

thanks... one month is a fair bit for a suggestion
don't bump everything that looks cool

Holy stuff, this thread isn't too old yet?  Okay, cool.  Bump.

Bumping this stuff again.  You have no idea how badly I want a playable banjo in Blockland.

Hahaha ^ That made my morning.

His secret intentions have been revealed!

I think it would be better with individual notes in a gui btw. Along with the ability to save combinations of notes or strings for short songs.
