Add in a trombone somewhere in that list.

Done.  I initially didn't think to add it since there's already a Annoying Orangeet and a tuba.  I also added a xylophone, since I figured we needed some kind of tuned percussion instrument, and added a bit about particle effects.

Of course, there's still the lingering question of who's actually going to make this add-on.

Mobile music blocks?

How hard would this be to code?

Mobile music blocks?

actually not very hard.

remember it's just selecting a music from the command, and you could pretty much use http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=199134.msg5454293#msg5454293 's code for the music and stuff

idk

i think it might be a bit weird to code the starting and stopping of the music onfire

what if there was a hook for MIDI involved?
(ie plug an elec piano into your computer and use it to play sounds in blockland)

I think that would be getting away from the original idea a bit much.  Animated items that play whatever music loop you select are good enough, and are a lot more likely to produce actual music when played in real-time by players on a laggy server.

...and that's not what OP wants?

try reading OP for once?
Well, he did. He wanted a more in-depth explanation, not meaning to offend him like you seem to have taken it as.

clearly he didn't, considering the suggestion he gave
