Author Topic: Cheap game that runs on a macbook and can hold me occupied for a couple of days  (Read 1617 times)

I'm looking for a cheap (or free) game that can hold me occupied for a couple of days while I'm waiting for my PC to get fixed. I can use a macbook so please no games that require good specs or a lot of memory.

Plants vs. Zombies GOTY Edition when it goes on sale (which is like all the time, but even not on sale it's only $10)

put 20 hours into that game .. paid ~$2 for it ..

Supra mayro krat. Amazing game, a must play.

Might buy it unless I don't find another game that looks more fun.

Looks great, I'll give it a try later.

Well, Prison Architect is a pretty fun game which works great om Macbooks but it's 30$ so I guess it doesn't classify as cheap.

EDIT: Sorry, the game is actually 30 dollars, I just recalled.

This looks really fun but I'm not sure if I'm willing to hand out 20$ unless I'm gonna play it for more than a couple of days, though maybe later.

if you buy a game, why cant you use it for your pc wehn its fixed? it seems wasteful

I bought it because it works great as a laptop game, and as a substitute for SimCity 4 on the Macbook. Although I just recalled it is actually 30 $, I'm sorry.
It is very fun though. It's one of these games which you get a craving for a little now and then, but can't play for too long.

I have a bunch of fun games for PC which I want to play once I get it back and I'm just wanting something to do while I wait, but of course I can play them on my PC.

About the Prison Architect, it looks fun and all, but I'm not sure if I think it's worh 30 dollars.
(Though I wouldn't have a problem spending like 5 dollars on a game because that's not very much money)
