Features:
System's Processor:

THE WORLD'S FASTEST
MOBILE PROCESSOR
Custom 72-core NVIDIA GeForce® GPU
Quad-core A15 CPU

Controller:
Quote
HOW GAMES WERE
MEANT TO BE PLAYED
Ultimate control and precision with a full-size console-grade game controller
It's basically the result of a PS3 Controller having love with the XBOX 360 Controller. Same 360 buttons with both joysticks at the bottom. In the back of the system there are also some plugs for HDMI, USB, Headphones, and a MicroSD slot.

Screen Quality:
Quote
YOUR GAMES HAVE NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD
5-inch 720p retinal multi-touch display for high fidelity visuals
So the screen is pretty much the same as the PS Vita, if no better.

Audio:
Quote
TURN UP YOUR GAME
Custom, bass-reflex, tuned port audio system delivers fidelity and custom range never before experienced on a portable device
This is one of the first handhelds I've seen use bass speakers.

Internet Speed:
Quote
NO LAG MEANS NO EXCUSES
802.11n 2x2 MIMO game-speed Wi-Fi provides high-bandwidth, ultra-fast wireless for seamless game streaming
Probably the most important part to anyone who streams LP's and stuff of the sort.

Android OS:
Quote
PURE ANDROID, SO NOTHING GETS IN YOUR WAY
Project SHIELD is stocked with the latest Android Jelly Bean operating system from Google, providing access to all your favorite Android applications and games
Even though Android's not everyone's pick, I'm sure we can all agree that it's the best handheld game market available. But don't worry, Steam will also be available on this device. :D

So, how do you like them apples?

Can it run skyrim at ultra?!?!

Steambox?

or Project Shield?
fuk u 2013

This is actually really cool. Probably expensive though.

What the point of have a "portable" pc when it doesn't even use a keyboard and mouse.

Probably not.
Well this loving sucks, I'd punch anybody IRL if I saw them with this now.

The pc part of this handheld is mainly the ability to connect it to your computer so you can play games anywhere in your house or maybe even places with Wi-Fi.

Well it was able to run a high quality Assassin's Creed gameplay with no lag, so it should be possible.

Many people speculate this device will enter the range of $250-$350 due to the advanced specs and all that. Don't be surprised if you don't see people playing on them all over the place.

i'll stick to my xperia play till this thing drops heavily in price

it won't be able to run pc games at a high fps, if it even can. i think this is for connecting to an already good PC. its not miracle cure for console gamers who want to play on PC.

edit: im not sure now what it is >_> gotta read a bit more

its more of
Portable Handheld PC streaming
not an actual pc gaming thing i think

Well, since it streams the games, it all depends on your pc's specs that's streaming it and your internet connection. Right?

Anyone know how much it will cost?

Android is a great operating system for phones, but who thought it was a good idea to make a high-end console dedicated to it?
Android developers usually dedicate their apps to work on most phones, so not many of them actually have intense graphics so you'll probably end up just playing something like angry birds on it.

Ok, games like Rochard and some others are already on the computer with very good graphics (I have rochard) so I doubt they are going to NOT make good graphical games for this.
