used to play this with f22 and bithead but we stopped and im pretty bad at it.
one time we did a 4v4 with them 2 on 1 team and me on the other and everybody spammed tanks and i crushed
i even ran out of tanks and used helicopters

i didnt even need my helicopters
they secretly made helicopters too but my tanks shot them down

I have noticed the AI loves helicopters. I also keep my AA near my tanks to keep them covered.

Pretty much. I love the adapting ai.

I don't know why but it always seems like the skirmish AI is more handicapped than the one in the campaign.

What I hated about the campaign ai is that it had an endless supply of units to throw at me all day. Atleast it used infantry, whereas skirmish ai loves helicopters and tanks.

Yeah I feel the same about the campaign AI.
Also the difficulty level of the Skirmish AIs only determines what kind of units it spams.

Well I could play with my rather silly DDR only deck against newer players that don't have a full deck yet but I'm only Level 20 anyways. I have some NATO units but I personally think I don't have sufficient of them to really make a full deck.
I'm not really that good at wargame either. I'm trying to improve though.
I'd rather want to play some friendly matches than some very serious games where it's all about "winning" instead of having fun.
I'd also appreciate it if people wouldn't do any douchebag moves in game like spamming artillery , rushing , scouting with empty transports / supply trucks etc.

I should also point out that playing against higher level players will give you more experience than playing against lower level players.
