PACT = NO NEW ONES. JUST MORE FOR THE OLD ONES.

NATO= WOOO 4 NEW USELESS INFANTRY-BASED NATIONS.

I hope they'll give the DDR some MiG 29s and add some AA BRDM2s aswell.

I'm wondering why nobody has built a tank with 2 main guns yet.

Think about it this way;
The weight of two guns of smaller caliber would be more than one gun of higher caliber, which would slow the tank down for one thing. (Most of the time)
Secondly, Why mount two 76's when you can mount one 120, for example. The 120 would be generally more effective against tanks than the two 76's. It hasn't been done not because it'd be difficult, its because it'd be silly and impractical with today's modern tanks.
Plus you'd need an extra loader and gunner, which means more people risking their lives.

I'm talking about real life btw :P

Yeah I guess the tank would become too heavy to use as an MBT but I'm still surprised that those wicked soviets didn't try something like that during the cold war or even earlier. Atleast I haven't heard of any designs with a moveable turret that has 2 cannons.
I'm not necessarily talking about modern day designs.

I don't think you need an extra gunner for a doube barrel turret and you can use autoloaders instead of manual loaders ( which isn't as effective but still possible ). Plus said wicked soviets wouldn't really care about loosing one more loader in a single tank.

EDIT: I understand what you mean. I wasn't clear enough in my previous post : I was wondering why nobody designed a tank with a turret that has dual cannons ( see mammoth tank).

I'd think it would be possible to twin link two guns. Also I see the far future tanks having rail guns. Near future tanks will continue to fire du darts. Another note: Ignore the olive colored double barrel tanks on your server.

Those games where your comrade leaves in the beginning and you BARELY lose... still feels like I won though.

Hmm, we have enough people for a 4vs4 blocklanders game.

As you can see the US will not be helping NATO in Airland battle.

Well just kidding, April 1st is a few months away. Anyway I'm looking forward to coop in campaign.

Yeah...

I hope they keep the command star thing.

Hopefully. I wouldn't mind unlocking units again, because then I would have something to look forward too. But then again I want to be ready for multiplayer.

will airland battle be mac supported too? I know it took them forever and a half to get european escalation to mac and i would be disappointed if they dropped the ball with airland battle too
