Author Topic: Obamacare forgets over some Wendy's employees  (Read 6310 times)

He could afford to pay 50+ full time workers, but now with the healthcare mandate, he has to cut everyone to 28 hours? Makes perfect sense.
Yeah try the extra cost of maybe $2000 per employee.

List examples of "intrusive regulations", please.
Anything that requires government intrusion besides things listed in the constitution such as false advertising.

Things like minimum wage, required Equal Opportunity Employment, and the like are all terrible

Good gosh.

Laissez-faire Capitalism is an amazing model.

That was during a time when your literal only two options were to work on a farm or work in a factory. The world is a much different place now. Companies allowed to compete to offer consumers the best prices and while pleasing their employees knowing full well that they could work for someone else now should be allowed to thrive.

I agree, kids worked for days without set free. Many lost limbs and fingers to moving parts in the machinery. If you got hurt they simply fired you and someone took there place. The meat industry was also unhealthy and which made Teddy Roosevelt to create the FDA.

That doesn't last long though. If people know that there are people working in deplorable conditions someone would open a competing business that would treat workers fairly. Then people would explore this new opportunity and abandon the old one. This is the beauty of a market.

Also, The FDA is a flawed department. Especially when they are allowed to test medicines at rates such as 100x their suggested doses. And then when they forget up they aren't liable.

actually a lot of that was just muckraking journalists, conditions were far better than painted to be

Tell him he should find a "new opportunity". I'm sure from the beginning of the IR until the beginning of the 20th century is plenty of time.

Today the FDA is a terrible department. I don't them seriously anymore or trust them with my health.

I told you guys stuff like this would happen during the election. I warned you about Obamacare, bro! I told you dog!

The FDA was always a terrible department. Anything the gov't does is inefficient. If the FDA went away I'm almost positive that a private replacement would take over. Just look at CE. Every electronic device you use has a CE stamp on it. They are a private reputable testing company with real money to lose that has become a standard in the modern world.
