Security alert: Disable Java if you don’t need it. A vulnerability notice for Java 7 Update 10 and earlier has been issued by the Dept of Homeland Security Cyber Security Division. The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to install malware on vulnerable systems. The only way to protect yourself is by disabling Java in your browser, or use a separate browser to protect yourself.
