Author Topic: Anyone else have the flu?  (Read 3534 times)

I've been sick for like 5 weeks.
This means I have pretty much built up an immunity to the flu.

so no.

Your individual immune system has no relation to the functionings of the flu shot.
ok THAT is a comment of handicapation.

the entire point of a vaccine is to train the immune system to beat a strain, sometimes permanent, but in the flu shots case, like a temp yearly thing. especially since they update the shot every year with new strains.
obviously every person had different health levels and different immune systems. the shots may not even do a thing for some, and have an extreme effect on another.

ok THAT is a comment of handicapation.

No, suggesting other people get sicker than you because they have the flu shot is handicapation. I didn't realize you were this much of a fruit loop, you sound like one of those crazy homeopathic hippies. This conversation is one step away from you claiming the government is putting mind control fluid in each shot.

I'm not sure you even understand what my response was to you before, because I'm just getting more crazy rambling.

Sometimes flu shots contain living virus which forces the sickness on you

i never even said the shots make people sick. i said they weaken immune systems over years of use.
and obviously weakened immune systems mean you can get randomly sick easier.

you are confusing causation

Um, no, this is entirely untrue.

I took vitamins and a bit of Tylenol today, yeah I feel better.

people underestimate immune systems lol.

you can get instantly sick in 1 night just be being out in the rain. all it takes is 1 forgeted up thing to make your body cold or something, and the viruses that are all over us at any moment already, will just infect.
but a few Vit-c pills, or some fruit or juice that day could prevent it from happening. its literally that easy and fast working.

or you could just get drugs and cross your fingers for the year.

I never get the flu, regardless if I get a shot or not.
I actually haven't gotten a shot for over 7 years. Never once got the flu.
Flu season is a joke to me.

This is true. I was playing in the rain when i was 17.... A bunch of water that was coming off the roof got into my ears... I woke up with massive ear infections the next morning... now that was loving pain x.x Never played in the rain sense.

My gf had it on new years and gave it to me. I got over it about 2 days later
