I like having the small community around, but the fact is, the growth of it is pitifully slow from my viewpoint. Most aged Blockland players start mid teens, and very few live through the arduous years of abuse if they start around eight to ten years old. The game is just a little bit too big for its skin right now, and that skin is all the old players pushing against the swelling amount of newbies that are filling the nooks and crannies where the dead skin has just flaked off.
What I'm saying is, we do need a larger community because like most real life circumstances, if you're slow to innovate, evolve, or adapt, then you're most likely doomed to fail. Yes, I know, the older players of the community have come and gone and switched roles between trolls and down right wisdom givers, but innovations from the greener generation of players are overshadowing some of the coveted handiwork the old community used to share.
So, I'd like to see an influx of new players, we need a larger community for what this game is worth. But I fear though for the older generation of us, and how we'd fare in the long run once we're forgotten.
