gaming tablet, how many gaming computers are missing a cd/dvd drive and have to rely on services like steam or windows 8 app store

the new adventure minesweeper is pretty good but it's not something you need a $1,2k piece of equipment for

and having no cellular capabilities makes this even less of a tablet
I have no CD drive. You're living in 2005.

...and printers can create fully-functioning guns from plastic. (see: 3d printers)
this is no feat large enough to warrant such an outrageous price
What about the NAO robot?

$17,300 for, basically a 22.5" tall, autonomous mp3 player.
More specifically:
Is 100% autonomous (when not running a program), and speaks 8 different languages
Can sustain conversations
Remembers faces
Remembers locations
Fully programmable api

It will make you attractive and rich.

lmao are you serious

holy stuff it actually costs 1k-1.2k bucks for that thing.

i'd rather spend that money on a computer that won't be completely wiped out by some other device the next year.

pretty cool, but I have no interest in getting this.

although, this picture seems great

playing civilizations with a tablet would be a lot of fun.

This is the thing I don't understand at all. This is a very reasonable price for what is basically a gaming laptop; it has very good technology, very good portability and is also a tablet. Alienware would cost way more than this.

2 hour battery life put me off. Whoever thinks 2 hours is a serious gaming session needs to be punched in the throat.

You can always buy an external battery, but I agree the battery is a bit short

Why would you even buy an Alienware? They are overpriced. Just build a custom PC.

Pay 1000 dollars for a tablet that has 2 hour battery life, then probably like 100-200 extra bucks for an external batter that makes it last a few more hours. OR, like I keep saying, just build a PC.

Also about the DVD drive, I like buying a physical copy of it, just to make my collections of games look nicer and the fact that you don't have to wait for the game to download.

Lol, you still need to install all that stuff.
