So Disney unveiled 'Disney Infinity' today.
Here's a gamesradar article on it - click

From the looks of the trailer, it looks pretty neat, but I can't say I'm going to be getting it.

The game's starter set and initial figurine packs will be available in June of this year, which should give us just enough time to wrap our heads around all the stuff Infinity does.

Player creations, which can be simple levels to traverse or logic-driven custom games, can be uploaded to a Disney-moderated service which will then distribute them back to the player base. Infinity supports both local and online play in all of its modes.

So much want, so much want.

You can play as the best characters.

Too bad it works on a Skylanders-esque system.

I was disappointed when they related the Monsters Inc. characters to Monsters University, but even so, this looks interesting.

Yeah, Monsters University pretty much bummed me out. Also I'm pretty sure this had been announced months ago, because I remember hearing about it from somewhere else.

Where da Gravity Falls at
I'd see it as an add-on in the future, but the old times characters would satisfy many people I'm sure.

Disney: Pay-4-Fun

Any game with physical tie-in merchandise is automatically bad.

My mistake, I put "announced" rather than "unveiled" (or something similar)

But I'm happy to see Wreck-it Ralph in the game

You mean like Skylanders?

Critics say otherwise.

I would get it if you didn't have to buy those toys and stuff.

The game comes with some figurines when you buy it.

I know, but it still costs more than just a game because you also pay for that stand thing. For me, I don't think it's worth it. If the entire package is like 50 bucks or something, I might get it though.

To infinity, and beyond!
ZERG is awesome too.

I'm guessing they'll never bring up ZERG's minions or the rest of Star Command. Ever.

Another way for companies to siphon hundreds of dollars out of the parents of spoiled children.
