Two-seater F-16s are also used in combat roles (i.e. pilot in front, well, pilots the plane while co-pilot in back can man weapon systems).

It's not common place but it's been done before.

F-16D is the two-seater and they are not used for combat.

It's been used by a variety of European and middle eastern nations, so I don't think the mechanical details of an F-16 are very top secret. If they were he would probably know not to talk about it.
