Knives (especially serrated knives) are designed to do a lot more damage than your fists, there is a reason why we hunt with guns and not 20+ children

they swing the knife once, cut someone, go for another swing but look one of the teenagers has grabbed his wrist and is holding it! so he tries to punch him, oh wait! Someone else has grabbed that! Oh dear now he's getting pinned down and hit quite a lot.

you spin and use your arm to get the barrel aimed away from you, then you simultaneously grab the wrist with your right hand and do a strong elbow to the face with the left arm.  once he's disoriented you use your right hand to peel the handgun down and out of his hand.

that's a gun defense from behind though, a frontal defense is way simpler

I would climb on the roof of the school and grab a sniper rifle off out of my care package that I call in. I would then proceed to jump off the roof and do a full 360 spin while shooting the psycho guy. Everyone would then yell "OOHHHHHHHH" because they recognize how leet my skills are, and I would teabag the psycho guy's corpse.
