Usually the teachers Are suppose go put construction paper or something on the inside of the door where the glass it, close all of the shades so that a killer couldn't see in the room.

Honestly though, if someone really wanted to they could shoot the glass. I wouldn't stay in the classroom and just sit there, id rather jump out the window an try to run elsewhere instead of just sitting there waiting to die. If I were to get shot running at least id get shot actually doing something instead of just sitting there in a corner.

All the lockdown drills I ever did was getting under the desks not sitting in the corner.
Because the desks were enchanted with a level 3 ward spell so nothing can get you if you are under one.

Well of course there wont be a lot of shootings if there aren't guns, that doesn't mean people cant do other stuff.
The amount of car crashes would be 0 if we just made cars illegal too.
Besides, Ireland has a population smaller than most notable cities, consider how many people there are in a country to how many school shootings there have been in that country, the ratio is gonna be pretty low, now if that were applied to a country with only 4 million people, yeah there aren't gonna be many cases.
The main point is that guns or no guns if someone wants to forget up a school they will.
