Author Topic: Bloom and motion blur shaders  (Read 1902 times)

We should have a bloom shader that creates bloom based on the lighting and color of objects unless they're in the shade, and there should also be a motion blur shader, not sure how this idea would work, but it'd be neat if they had their also had their own GUI or commands to adjust their intensity and such

Like seriously, this game needs more shader add-ons, there's so much that they could potentially do, it's like a whole new world that has hardly been explored! :o

True, it could be really cool to have more graphic features

Imagine how abusive events for this would be in minigames

How would this be abused? (if it was somehow server sided)

It might bother those people who dislike bloom and motion blur :P

Motion blur wouldn't be possible without default code changes.
Bloom would be possible.

Bloom would be possible.
:D

But how many people actually know how to work with shaders? They seem to be written differently than what you see in .cs files

Yes, they are different; they're written in GLSL. If you have a basic understanding of GLSL, you should be able to write different shaders for Blockland.

I'm assuming not, but does anyone know if it's possible to rip some of Minecraft's GLSL shaders and implement them into Blockland?
