Author Topic: If an apocalypse would happen...  (Read 2075 times)

i'd load up a backpack

basic canned food
bottled water
matches
first aid kit
knife for skinning animals and so forth
clothes and hiking shoes

after that i'd get a tent, some bbs, ammo, and other weapon type things

then i'd grab one of the .22s here and my bb gun for small game (squirrels, rabbits, rats, etc.) hunting. don't want to alert zombies with a large caliber rifle. i'd then head out for the nearest mountain, have a few shots, and wait for this all to blow over.

The generic sheeple that browse this forum would probably laugh at it,

Yeah... yeah.

kevlar off a dead officer, my gsg5 pk thats tacticool, desert combat boots, water, portion of my mre stock, a kukri, BDUs and a hatchet to split wood. i live in alaska, and yes, i where desert boots in winter...

if there really was an apocalypse I'd probably panic and die
The unfortunate truth, this would happen to me too :cookieMonster:

Anyone who is wearing a helmet and Kevlar in a zombie apocalypse is a handicap, zombies don't shoot guns and bandits are few and far between.

I would take my jacket, glasses, boots, ect. I would load my backpack/car with canned food and water. I would hit the adventure outdoors near my home for guns, ammo, and survival gear, then hit a Costco for canned food and fuel. I would attempt to drive my car to eastern Canada, where I could hopefully find a boat to Greenland. If not I would go to Alaska and join a village, which will still exist seeing as zombies are on foot and it's not easy to walk to an Alaskan town.

Don't forget stuff like toilet paper, medical supplies, or tools. You overlook that stuff and you're finding your self with a dirty ass, a sliced leg, and a rock tied to a stick.

dont forget 20s so you can buy fun and repopulate the world

I would go to Alaska
It's sparsely populated, i'll give you that, but it's also cold as forget here.

I'm pretty sure zombies, being dead and all, wouldn't mind though.

Personally, I'd go south down to the Aleutian islands.

They would be isolated enough from zombie hordes migrating over the rest of North America, plus the large ones are abundant with resources.

And it's milder compared to the extremes up here.

Zombies, being infected humans, would freeze solid. Remember, they're made of water too.

tez, you live in alaska too? HIGH 5

Who knows, maybe they create excess body heat due to the 'virus'.  That's all in the technicalities lol.

i have about 4 bags of chips, 10 water bottles, kitchen knifes, i'll survive a few years

Did you know your home town/city plays an important part in a book about cities that move and eat each other?

New plan, turns out my ne neighbour likes guns and has a few of them, i'd go there and arm myself with whatever he has (if he's dead already)

I'm still imagining the future being the same as in Metro 2033.
