The launcher needs to just autoselect the last server I was on.  I don't want to have to keep switching to EU East 1.

If EA wanted to preserve the servers so much they should have temporarily taken out the global economy and had all the resources be a set cost until they get bigger servers, seriously, cheetah-speed probably takes up less space than an entire system of real-time updating economy.

Wow, seems like they're really trying to fix up the game, usually whenever I see things like this developers/managers just go "eh yeah yeah issues we'll fix it later."
