Taking place this Saturday, May 9, players will get to test up to 3 hours of 4 vs. 4 online multiplayer, with servers going live for 1-hour periods at 4am, 12pm and 4pm BST.The beta - which Nintendo is calling a 'Global Testfire Demo' - will be available to download from the Nintendo eShop later this afternoon, but won't be playable until the test slots go live on Saturday.Anybody who downloads the demo will also get 10 percent off a digital copy of Splatoon when it launches on May 29, bringing the price down from £34.99 to £31.49.
