favorite mario kart course is pretty much every rainbow road ever
There are so many people who absolutely hate Rainbow Road maps and i really can't blame them. For starters those maps are hard as hell. Even the AI can't get trough those cursed tracks without falling and falling every five seconds. Personally i love the Rainbow Road maps for their music, environment and challenge.

any word on MK-U
So far Nintendo has only confirmed that there will be one. They're going to reveal most of the "Games released on every Nintendo console" in E3 2013, which takes place somewhere in the summer.

This.

Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon has so many nice little details and neat little secrets. The developers really knew that what the consumer pays attention to the most are the small things, like Luigi getting dizzy after spinning around for a while or Luigi kicking the rolled up carpets down if you run at them. Often developers of big games like Skyrim or the whole Elder Scrolls series forget to add those tiny details that can really improve the game experience and give us an experience we will remember for a lifetime.

rainbow road really isn't that hard, you just gotta practice a bit.

but it could be i'm just good at rainbow road. and no this is not my ego speaking: i mean the particular rainbow road levels in mario kart games. for example, i am pretty good at rainbow road but i'm absolute disaster at grumble volcano and moonview highway, ESPECIALLY the former.

I don't know any super annoying levels besides that Bowser's castle one where there are like a hundred different pits you can fall in and you can't go faster than 3 mph.

Bowser's castle variant number 30023# direct live gameplay

Not many people know as I assume not many people play it, but you guys ever play F-Zero? They do have a Rainbow Road of F-Zero X and I think it's one of the hardest Rainbow Roads, that being falling off is an immediate retire, and the map basically only has walls on the turns. It is actually the same shape and form as the Mario Kart 64 course, and has a radical spin on the Mario Kart's theme. The subtitle for the course is PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE.

And to compare themes,
Mario Kart 64's
F-Zero X's

I just bought the 3DS, any must buys? Also isn't there a friend system?

I'm personally awaiting New Leaf and Dream Team, but good games from what I've heard are Luigi's Mansion 2, and I do own Mario Kart 7 which is a neat game all in itself, very frustrating though.

Just put $10 in the store, nothing is catching my eye, any games I should get?

Oh hey, Mario 64 is one of this month's Club Nintendo games.  Now when is Wii U VC going to support n64?

Must buys:

Kid Icarus: Uprising,
Ocarina of Time 3D,
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance,
Metal Gear Solid 3D.

Later, when they come out, I suggest you get Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Pokemon X/Y version.

When I had mine, Ridge Racer 3D was always very fun and the drifting mechanic of it was insanely satisfying.
