Yes, but you mustn't ever forget how much money, food & supplies, weapons, and vehicles the US sent over to the allies.
Food and Studebaker trucks were the only thing (I think a little bit of production for the Soviets went on in America, not sure.). America didn't contribute to any of the manpower on the Eastern front. Hell, the RAF even had pilots there training the Red Airforce.
EDIT: However, I'm not saying that Western support didn't matter, lol. It was highly important.
