10/10

I used to listen to mostly SNSD/an SNSD Pandora station when I played Starcraft. Literally the only time I could tolerate it, and I never liked the English dubs, because I realized it was just pop music :P, but I did enjoy it while playing sommadat SC2.

Also how do I make a chart like this.
It's in the OP

Wanted to do 100, aaand got through most of it and realized I'd spent almost an hour on it, and anything past this would've been like, just throwing random albums in for the sake of filling space.

I don't often listen to music, but when I do it's usually Zappa, jethro tull, or The Who.

edit: aww forget I forgot dark side of the moon. Remove the mix by kraftwerk, and put in dark side of the moon.

wow most of you have really "teenager" taste in music

Most of the posts are total dadrock. And what does "teenager" taste even mean?

Except mine

(I forgot Van Halen is good but I don't listen to their albums in full)

well teenager taste is stereotypical music that only appeals to teens, not music that is going to last through the ages.

and yeah, imo dadrock is a form of angsty "oh im so against the grain of society!  fight the power" teen that you tend to see nowadays - kids who are like, "forget the radio man"

Well yeah, you're just sooo metal

Eh. I don't think any of the music I listen to is just for teens. I mean American Football and Title Fight do appeal to emotional teen bullstuff, but even now I look at it as quaint and self-satirical. Emo as a whole has that effect

well emo music will forever be considered teen since it's just in it's nature, but there are some good artists in it.

but like neutral milk hotel and mgmt and the flaming lips and tame impala etc they're all pretty good and I think there's a chance they will last

1. You don't know what's going to last throughout the ages. Stuff that's popular now may fade away as a simple fad would, and not so popular stuff may become revered classics in 50 or so years by following generations.

2. Personally I see it as "forget top 40 and hot hits stations"

Classic rock will stay classic, as the name implies. Some are overrated, like the Beatles I do agree. Also ew Glam Rock/metal. (/opinion)

Well yeah, you're just sooo metal

I guess I was being a bit self centered with that quote. Also, sorry for having a preferred genre. I don't like stuff like Lamb of God and Five Finger Death Punch which is over simplified and based on blast beats and heavy guitar tones alone.

Oh cool the Flaming Lips are the first show at the Black Keys concert I'm going to. I've never heard them but I guess now is as good a time as ever.

Those are all totally different bands. You shouldn't just call them teenager bands. Alt, experimental, folk, dream pop, etc. are proper names for them, and I'm sure they appeal to plenty of adults

No one likes Lamb of God or Five Finger Death Punch
Edit:
-snip-
Never heard of it. The closing track was the first to come up on Youtube. It seems pretty cool and depressing. Might check it out in full later
