They've added so much since then it feels like a completely different game.

well, i usually try out the new characters but i never really SERIOUSLY play with them.

my original thief character will always be my main.

I've had a lot Maplestory phases where I would get into the game then drop out after a month or two. I always played with 2 IRL friends who live relatively close so we'd plan nights where we'd all go on and stuff. Usually every major class addition we'd check it out again, realizing the game was so much easier each time since they started dumbing it down majorly. We'd enjoy it for a while then lose interest when it got back to the GRIND GRIND GRIND part.

Also back in the day we rolled for hours straight to get the perfect 4 4 stat roll.

I agree with everybody else, Every time i try to play it it's like, 6 7 races? classes? things? What should i even pick? Are they locked to certain areas? What?


I miss being a ranger and jumping up that big tower that took ages and ended in the sea area.

Not surprised, MapleStory is only fully compatible with XP, it doesn't run well on Vista/7/8

They're really far behind. There are only two 4:3 resolutions, this game shows it's age.

Orbis tower = Bane of my gaming life.
Eos tower is worse, though

I hated how it has those big ones that shot lasers at you and knocked you down loads of floors.
