Kamayhamaha lazer

I dont know if this is possible but would someone be able to make a lazer gun that shoots out a gold beam of light (like the Kamayhamaha beam off DBZ) and it can destroy ANYTHING that gets in the way or moves into the beam.

and for more info on how i would like it done (its ok if i cant be done)

The beam last for about 5 seconds
It takes about 30 seconds to recharge
and just the design of it Awesome but different
