Author Topic: Video Game Developing Team  (Read 2993 times)

Me and my friends decided to make a video game developing team!
So we came up with this.

So, what is this team?

We are a team of beggining, intermediate developers, with little skill.
That's why we need a HUGE amount of new producers.

Where can I apply?

Email me: jangokiller1@gmail.com
Or, you can reply to this post with an EXCELLENT application!

Thinking about joining, but you don't want to apply or get trained?

That's fine!

Just message me on RTB, my username is Kromestar! And we'll get you ready, without ANY training!

What Engine/Studio/Tool are you using?

I'm currently using the Torque Engine to create my game, you're free to reccommend any engine to me, but please don't say bad stuff about the one I'm using currently.

Oops, I need to edit it a bit.

I currently own the full Unity3D engine and am working on a game of my own.

Unless you have the $1,500 to purchase the engine, have fun.

I own the free version, but I think that it would be of great developing power, and excellent strength to make a game that I wanted to make. That is why I made this forumpost.

The Unity licensing of the free version is ridiculous, if you plan on selling the game I strongly suggest getting another engine, eg; T3D as it's now open source

What's the licensing like on T3D?

Not sure since it went open source, anyone who feels like looking go ahead.

Eh, I'll get it. The thing I'm having problems with now is modeling, could I use Google Sketchup, or possibly Blender on the engine?

I trust that OP is a talented professional who's role isn't "idea man" right?

I'd say that you're probably wrong.

edit;
Also going to point out having a large team (3+ people) is not a smart idea, it makes cooperation and coordination extremely hard.

I misread it, I thought your team was called Unity.

Do either of you have any coding experience?
Do either of you know how to use Unity?
Do you know what you want to make?
Do you know they're not video game produces, they're video game developers. Producer is its own role.
Do you know I'm not trying to discourage you, but making sure you are ready.

Oh I should've put developers instead of producers, sorry.
