What is this?
Pivot and Stykz are animation software that does pose-to-pose animation with stickfigures.
It's very very easy to use the program but takes time to master animation.

What is the difference?
Pivot is more basic than Stykz.
Stykz has more features such as multiplatform, Anti-Aliasing, joint stretching & joining joints together.
But the new version of pivot is adding some of these features.

Where can I get them?
Click the links above.
Duhh!

How do I use this?
Look everywhere.
There are great tutorials on the basics and animation mastering

I know this is bland right now, but I wanna start up a conversation.

I keep putting this off but hopefully knowing the thread is up will keep me motivated. Its gonna be way better.

I'm trying to take a blast to the past and animate more.

Which one is better? Stykz or Pivot?

Pros and cons of both?

one of my friend's older brother used to play with pivot a lot
i thought it was really interesting

Which one is better? Stykz or Pivot?
search up Pivot 3.0
it isn't easy to find, but it's by far the best stickfigure animator

i used this program for almost five years of my life. this was my childhood instead of zelda, i mean what the forget.

over the course of all the harddrives that have held my pivot animations, i have none currently.
welp, time to get back to work.

Oh god, I used to love Stick figure animations. I have never made any, but I would love to start.

While everyone watched the Annoying Orange and Happy Tree Friends, I watched these.

Which one is better? Stykz or Pivot?

Pros and cons of both?
Here is a list on Stykz website that shows what supports both programs

http://www.stykz.net/faq/pivot_comparison.php

Unfortunately, Pivot can import bitmaps/gif images to use. Stykz can't, which is probably the only problem with it.

I use both programs for different things. I've been a Pivot user for about 6 years now and it's hard to say that I love Stykz more than pivot because pivot is my childhood.
