Author Topic: Club Penguin items for everyone  (Read 1623 times)

I was bored this morning so I popped onto Club Penguin to see what's new.
And, there was something that just made me smile, even if my membership is still active...

Well done, Disney! Finally, you produce something that doesn't cost anything!
Also, the items actually look pretty good:

Well, it makes little difference to me now, but it's nice to see they've done this.

The most annoying aspect of my time of playing Club Penguin was the fact that you had to be a subscriber to equip most clothes.
And then once your subscription ended all your clothes were stripped off of you and locked away until you paid up again...

If I was still playing I'd be quite happy about this.

'The Funster'.

Why does it look so sad on the right side?

I'm not sure, but I think if you've unlocked clothing using the Treasure Trove you can keep it.

It might have changed since I last played, which was a number of years ago now, prior to Disney purchasing it.
Don't remember a Treasure Trove, unless I'm just confused.

But I'm pretty sure you couldn't wear your subscriber clothes once your subscription ended.
Had to go back to wearing the free-2-play clothes and special event holiday-give-aways like when Rockhopper came back.

Unlock a code, use it, get a catalog and choose your item

Shiiit. I remember the rockhopper thing when everyone had an climax and went to the lighthouse

i played the beta since i was around when rocketsnail did it. I was never a member but i had lots of free clothes that were badass

So they made stuffty flash item virtual clothes that look tacky, sort of free-ish? That Disney is such a charity case, let me tell you!

I haven't played in four or five years. :(

It's still pretty much the same.
The have tons of premium only clothes.

All the kids are playing Moshi Monsters these days
