Night was falling, I had traps set up around my base, and I was swarmed by I'd guess 6-8 regular and ice hounds. Could have fought them off during the day and during the summer, but the amount coupled with the fact I had to stay somewhere near my base lead to my death on Day 60.

Next game, I'm turning off lessening wolves, it's not really a survival game without an environment that you can learn from, not one that exponentially gets harder with your fortune.

You can learn. Learn that you should always stay near pigs or beefalo, as they are incredibly helpful. :D

I think once you get late into the game you should be killing mac tusk and his hounds a lot so you can get teeth to make tooth traps everywhere

I had tooth traps at every entrance of my base and the hounds just walked right in.
