My tallbird egg just hatched. Instantly the smallbird was killed in a flash fire from a lightning strike in my sapling farm.
God dammit.
I will have my revenge.
Vengeance will be mine.
I will spilt the heavens and steal their hearts.

This is all after four miserable days tending to fires, starving and slowly going insane, only going on in the hope of finally having some sort of companionship from this lonely game.

now gold is found inside rocks that look like they have gold in them!
(easy to find gold, kinda sucks, but cool)
also i found a fire staff with fire hounds, ran away, tried to kill with the fire staff, it died, ran until i found a pig village, they killed them all

tl;dr found fire staff, fire hounds raped me (almost), found pig village and they all killed the hounds :)

It seems like once you get to a certain point in the game you could survive indefinitely, but I don't know.
