I saw the livestream of the caves and it looks so cool.
Also plenty of people have just discovered a way to go into creative mode on Don't Starve.

easy/pusillanimous individual way to kill hounds/monsters!
1. lure them to pigs
2. let pigs kill them
3. take drops!!! ( be sure to be nice and give the meat to the pigs!!)

Also, I have a quick question to ask you all: Have you ever ate a (RAW) Green-Blue mushroom on your first run (Or higher) without knowing their negative effects?

better way:
have a hound corridor



this thing is set up to not let even the max hounds with max health get through

Hound's are so easy to kill.

Hounds destroy walls though?

Wow, no one's posted anything about the update that is being released in a few days?

I opted into the 'publicpreview' beta and messed around a bit.

It makes each character a bit more unique, so whichever character you choose seems to have a larger impact on how you play than it used to.

Willow's changes seem to make her really easy and strong of a character.

Spoilers: (Just in-case people want to be surprised I've made the text invisible)
These are things I've noticed so far:

-Wolfgang does normal damage at half-full hunger bar, and he gets stronger the more filled his hunger-bar is.
-New character, Woody. He starts with a red axe that talks to him, and it chops trees insanely fast and takes less hits per tree. Also never breaks, it seems. It will speak to you, and if you chop too many trees quickly, it (she?) will start to warn you to slow down. If you keep chopping, after enough trees chopped, you will drop all your items, then transform into a Beaver-man. While in Beaver form you run faster (I think), and you can break anything (Not confirmed), and to stay in beaver form you have to click on items on the floor and "gnaw" on them, which eats them. When your "Beaver-bar" gets to 0, you will wake up back in human form, and you will have 50 stats. 50 HP, 50 sanity, 50 hunger. You must go back and retrieve your items. Also you take no damage in beaver form, instead when you get hit your 'beaver bar' will drop slightly.
-Willow can now burn things at will. She spawns with a lighter that gives enough light to keep you alive at night, and it doesn't seem to run out.
-WX can be super-charged by being struck by lightning. It seems to make him temporarily stronger in every way. Speed, Damage, and he lights up. Haven't explored this one much.
-Abigail can do something else now, but I haven't player her yet so I don't know what it is. All I know is in the trailer it had her levitate a flower so idk.
-Wes can now spawn balloons, which supposedly distract enemies, but when they pop they explode and hurt you if you're nearby, haven't tested this one yet either, so I could be wrong.
-Librarian's new power has something to do with birds and burning birds, I haven't tested her at all yet.
-Music seems to play when you chop trees down now, not sure if it's a bug or what but it's kinda eerie.


There's probably more that I've missed / don't know yet / is not correct.
