Author Topic: Cloning - Is it okay?  (Read 4028 times)

Cloning humans has always been a fantasy. However, scientists are making new progress every day.Pretty soon human cloning shall become a possibility. Clones could be used to replace organs of the original person. Some people may think of this as immoral. Others might just be opposed to "playing god" in general. What do you think?

Yes.

prepare to assume
CORTEX COMMAND

>epic guitar solo<

Imagine being born into the world just to be used as spare parts for someone else.

I can't decide on the matter. But I'd want a clone of myself for various reasons.

...why?
spend the time researching how to clone fossil fuels. The last thing we need in this world is even more people. The world is already overpopulated as it is

Cortex Command is a game where a mega-company called Alchiral mass-produces clones and sells them. They're used as cheap soldiers and the like, and are controlled by disembodied brains called 'brain-bots.'

Someone should write a book about someone's clone who was cloned solely for the purpose of using his organs. The time comes when someone somewhere needs his heart/brain, and he is going to die. Continue from there.

Edit:
Imagine being born into the world just to be used as spare parts for someone else.

I had a feeling I wasn't making that up and instead there was actually a book like that which I talked about with someone in the past.

Edit: wow there are more books like this than I thought

Imagine dieing because you need new organs now, and the only way to get them is from a clone. Are you going to let the clone be used for what is was made to be used for, or die because you were just behind on progress of the world.

Fossil fuels come from fossils of animals.

the process of creating fossil fuels from the remains of organisms takes a really long time

you can't just like, make more fossils lol

As long as they are born without a brain I'm chill with it.

The only people who think this are idiots and if anyone ever says this to you you should point out they are over 20 years old (If they are) and really should be dead by now they don't like "Playing god".
