which I'm certain Badspot would definitely not approve of

But wait a minute, isn't RTB just some sort of chat server thing. What stops you from just sending a message to the public chat room? Someone said it's not IRC but IIRC now. Is the "IIRC" server hosted on the RTB server now?

• Connect to RTBC server.
• Do a bunch of authentication stuff.
• RTBC server talks with Blockland auth server to see if you've authed successfully in-game.
• If you have, it lets you interact with the system. Otherwise, you just get disconnected with an error.

i remember talking in the rtb chat on my phone back when it was still just an IRC
now you can still get to the IRC but there's only a bot or two there, i think

IIRC, RTB is no longer based on IRC and instead uses it's own system as of v4.
