Why don't baseplates get fakekilled?

I never understood why they didnt. Is it too large to draw or something? (However baseplates can be fakekilled still)

Its just that, you go to explode something and everything explodes but the pesky baseplates, they ruin the whole effect of what you are trying to do. If it has to do with impacting FPS im almost sure hardware nowadays can take it.

If I remember correctly, each weapon has a maximum size of brick that it can destroy. the pistol can break 1x1 flats, while the rocket launcher can break bigger bricks. Baseplates are just very large bricks.

It is a tad annoying that weapons can't though, it looks so funny when you break a whole building but it's baseplates are just floating there.

just edit the weapon file, its literally just one line that you increase.

First of all it doesn't make sense. Believe it or not physics are based on LEGO PSYCHICS. It's quite impossible to fake kill such a large flat brick. The only way to kill such a brick is to pick it up with your hand and throw it.

Essentially a baseplate is part of the ground, you use it to build on. You can't blow up the ground. If you wanted a build that responded well to being blown up then use smaller bricks. 8x16 should do.

i will provide instruction how to fakekill any size blocks.

step 1 - unzip any weapon that makes explosions that isn't default

step 2 - open the main file

step 3 - edit this line to like 99999999999

step 4 - zip it back up

step 5 - enjoy

I like how everyone is ignoring me. OP should use smaller bricks instead of listening to these people about creating a new Ion cannon.

I don't want anyone to make a new ion cannon, I'm just reminiscing. He asked why they aren't fakekilled, not how to make a building that can be properly fakekilled.
